Entry 10~ December 1778

There was no fighting at Valley Forge, they almost died though. They didn't have warm clothes for the winter and had no food. I think I would hate being in that position of possibly not living. I didn't mention what was called the War at Sea during 1775 and 1776. We had created 4 American warships, a Continental Navy, and the marines. We were being the offensive side and they were defensive, but we went for their supply base instead. They seized it and weakened Britain's supply and naval forces. So that was about 2 to 3 years ago. I have heard of someone named John Paul Jones. It is said that he joined the navy and is considering himself as a pirate. He also captured many of the British supply ships, and is known as a hero. I have heard that Georgia finally joined the war and fell first. The British took Savannah quickly and without hesitation.
